About the Band

Akai is an indie rock band from Saint Paul, MN. Formed in early 2000 by two of it's core members, they released their first EP as "Akai" in 2005. Akai began to perform publicly as a full band in 2007 after the release of their first album, "Pretty Songs About Ugly Things". Akai currently has 8 members:

  • Jana Sutter (Keyboards, Vocals)
